What does the challenge coin mean to you?

To me, the coin is like a family coat of arms that can be displayed to other firefighters

Was there an event, ceremony, fundraiser, or achievement for this challenge coin?

There was no official event or ceremony. Some are used gifts for excellent service, while others are used to raise funds for various items the fire company needs.
