What was the purpose of the challenge coin?

I work as an ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Firefighter) at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and we commonly have other government agencies visit and tour our station. I started receiving coins but had none to exchange so I decided to give back what was given to me. My sons have become avid coin collectors as well and they love the coins I bring home.😎

What does the challenge coin mean to you?

It puts a personal stamp on Phoenix Fire Station 19 and also the apparatus I am assigned to as a Fire Captain which is Foam 3 (F3).
